Capitol Reef: an orchard in the middle of the desert

A drive through the park along Highway 24 and the Scenic Drive (~7 km of walking split across five stops, half a day by car). Start at the visitor center. The Scenic Drive is charged as the national park entrance fee; the ticket is bought at the center. From July to September do not walk into the canyons when a storm is building - we explain why.
