Prague: The Stag Moat

From Malostranská metro through the Chotek gardens into the Stag Moat, the deep ravine north of Prague Castle. Rudolf II kept lions here, the communists closed it for four decades, and it reopened only in 2002 — together with the tunnel driven straight through the embankment of the Powder Bridge. It ends at the Prague Castle Riding School. NOTE: the moat is closed from 1 November to 28 February; the walk can only be played outside that period.
