Prague: from Vyšehrad to the náplavka

🚶 3.6 km · 📍 14 stops · ⏱ ~150 min

We start at Prague's oldest metro line, on a bridge with a story of its own, then cross the Vyšehrad fortress from the Romanesque rotunda past viewpoints over both halves of the city to the place where a prince stands beside a princess. If you like, add a loop past the statues from the legends and the Devil's Column. Then down to the river: past a customs house sunk below the level of the road, past the gauge that measured every flood, along the náplavka to the Dancing House — and to a shot-up church that is deliberately never repaired.
