Vienna: the Prater and Red Vienna
🚶 4.5 km · 📍 6 stops · ⏱ ~240 min
The other Vienna, off the postcards (~4.5 km on foot, half a day including one metro ride). From the Hundertwasser House through the Prater, then by metro to Heiligenstadt for the Karl-Marx-Hof and Beethoven's flat. The optional trip up the Kahlenberg on bus 38A adds two hours. The Prater and the avenue are always open, the Ferris wheel and the museums have opening hours; you do not go inside the housing blocks, people live there.
