Alongside the National Theatre, the Estates Theatre is one of Prague’s main theatres. A world-famous composer even conducted an opera at the theatre, and after his opera was not successful in Vienna, the people of Prague admired it with enthusiasm. Therefore, the author decided to write an opera just for Prague and it was this opera that made the theatre famous.
